Saturday 9th November 2013: Tree Planting and Wildlife Corridor Restoration

    Volunteers of all ages joined Macclesfield RSPB Wildlife Explorers on a footpath in Sutton to plant more than 400 trees received as part of a Community Tree Pack from The Woodland Trust.             44 volunteers armed with spades and shovels headed out into the beautiful Cheshire countryside on Saturday to help restore an area of hedgerow.            The trees that we planted will create a new hedge against a bare wire fence and they also form a wildlife corridor linking a nearby area of woodland.
