Volunteeers from Macclesfield RSPB visited Year 3 at Rainow Primary School for their 14th year of Big School Birdwatches. The class spilt into two groups – one group stayed inside to watch birds on the feeders near the conservatory whilst the other group, armed with binoculars, headed out to walk round the playground and into the wood. In the Conservatory, as well as monitoring the wild birds visiting the feeders, children played some games to help them gain confidence with bird identification.
